Earn Your Adult Readiness Certificate

The certificate experience takes approximately one hour to complete and is designed to help participants develop foundational knowledge that supports success in work, education, and adulthood.

What to Expect

1. Complete Your Adult Readiness Profile

Begin by completing the Adult Readiness Profile. Individual responses are kept confidential and help us connect young adults with relevant resources and opportunities.

After earning your certificate, you may occasionally receive emails about resources, opportunities, and programs designed to support your continued growth and success in adulthood.

2. Complete Six Certificate Sections

You will complete six sections covering:

  • Money & Financial Literacy
  • Workplace Readiness
  • Professional Communication
  • Social Media & Personal Brand
  • Housing, Insurance & Independent Living
  • Life Planning & Future Readiness

Each section concludes with a brief Knowledge Check.

  • Participants must earn a score of 80% or higher before advancing to the next section
  • Knowledge Checks may be retaken as many times as needed

3. Receive Your Certificate

Upon successful completion of all six sections, participants:

  • Download their Adult Readiness Certificate as a PDF
  • Receive a copy of their certificate by email
  • Receive instructions for adding their certificate to their resume and LinkedIn profile

Before You Begin

  • Be prepared to spend about 1 hour completing the certificate
  • Progress must be completed in order
  • All required fields must be completed before advancing
  • Knowledge Checks require a score of 80% or higher
  • You may retake Knowledge Checks as needed

Ready to begin?

The Adult Readiness Certificate is intended for young adults and high school-aged participants. Participants under the age of 18 should obtain parent or guardian permission before participating.
